Smart Alternative
Blinded studies call for random envelopes for eventual disclosure of the composite given to the subject.
They are normally printed on pinfeed printers. Their (noisy) use mostly needs operator's assistance. Endless and fourside glued envelopes are difficult to handle.
Some years ago PharmaForms saw the market's need for a smart alternative to the industrial production of random envelopes for small-to-medium scale trials. We developed the patented Smart-Sealer™ for easy randomisation handling.
They can be used with quite ordinary office printers, be it laser or inkjet technology.
